Copyright Infringement Notification
ripoff.ai respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are properly reported.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that content on ripoff.ai infringes your copyright, please submit a notification containing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough information to locate it on our platform (URL)
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Consent to the jurisdiction of federal court in your district
- Agreement to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice
Repeat Infringers
ripoff.ai maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Important Notes
- DMCA notices are for copyright infringement only, not for content you simply disagree with
- False DMCA notices may result in liability for damages
- We may share your notice with the user who posted the content
- Consider consulting an attorney before filing a notice
Defamation vs. Copyright
The DMCA process is specifically for copyright infringement. If you believe content is defamatory or otherwise violates our guidelines, please use our standard report/contact process rather than filing a DMCA notice.
