Detailed Guidelines
1. Truthfulness
All reports must be based on genuine personal experiences. Do not exaggerate, fabricate, or misrepresent facts. If you're unsure about specific details, say so. Knowingly submitting false information may result in removal and account suspension.
2. First-Hand Experience
Reports should be about your own direct experience with a business or individual. Second-hand accounts (“my friend told me...”) are generally not accepted unless you directly witnessed the events.
3. Specificity
Provide specific details: dates, amounts, names of products or services, and what exactly went wrong. Vague complaints without details are less helpful to other consumers and may be rejected.
4. Evidence
Supporting evidence strengthens your report. Screenshots, receipts, contracts, email exchanges, and photos all help establish credibility. Redact sensitive personal information before uploading.
5. Respectful Language
Express frustration without resorting to profanity, slurs, or personal attacks. Focus on the business practices, not individuals' personal characteristics. Reports with excessive profanity may be edited or removed.
6. Privacy
Do not share private information about individuals, including home addresses, personal phone numbers, social security numbers, or financial information. Public business information is acceptable.
7. No Competitor Abuse
Do not submit fake reports about competitors. We actively monitor for suspicious patterns and will take action against businesses or individuals attempting to manipulate our platform.
8. Updates and Resolutions
If your issue is resolved, please update your report. This helps other consumers see the full picture and gives credit to businesses that address problems.
Enforcement
Reports that violate these guidelines may be edited, removed, or declined for publication. Repeated violations may result in account suspension. We reserve the right to make final decisions on all content matters.
